Our Partners

Good partners are the key to successful OACFund events--without them none of the smiles, friendships, handshakes, hugs, high-fives and renewed self-confidence would be possible.  The OACFund extends our most heart-felt appreciation to these partners who have helped make our veterans lives better.

Dream Giveaway Group, Inc. (www.dreamgiveaway.com) -- The  Dream Giveaway Group embraced the concept for the OACFund and provided all the funding to establish the Fund. OACFund is forever grateful to them for making it all possible.

Hope For the Warriors-- (www.hopeforthewarriors.org) gathered all the veterans who particpated in the inaugural OACFund event in 2014. They also provided gifts for the participants.

Team Red, White and Blue-- (www.teamrwb.org) reached out to their members in Florida to take part in the 2015 OACFund Veterans Day Miami Fishing Event. Fourteen veterans enjoyed the event, including for the first time two lady vets and two Viet Nam era veterans

Miami Sportfishing Captains/Boats--South Florida fishing legend, Mark Sosin is an OACF Board member and it was he who made the initial contact and posed the idea of a veterans fishing event with his long-time friend, Capt. Randolph “Bouncer” Smith (http://www.captbouncer.com/). Smith immediately said yes and quickly recruited Captains Alex Castelano, Quenton Dieterle (http://www.miamicharterfishing.com/boat.htm), Billy Springer, and Jon Cooper—all of whom volunteered their time, boats, equipment, the bait and their expertise to make the veteran’s day a bucket list kind of day. Capt. Bouncer also made arrangements with Monty's Sunset Restaurant to host a fish fry for the veterans and Bouncer's sister, Sue Singer, made lunches for the anglers to eat while they fished.

In 2015, Capt. Bouncer once again took the lead in arranging for the boats and captains who hosted the OACFund event and our veterans. This year, two additional boats were added, with the captains/boats from 2014 stepping up for a second year. This year's captains included:

              Capt. Bouncer                                  captbouncer@bellsouth.net

             Capt. Matt Lawson                         MTL7788@gmail.com

              Capt. Quinton Dieterle                   Dieterle@bellsouth.net

              Capt. Alex Castellano                     castellanosalex@bellsouth.net

              Capt. Matt Tambor                         matty@owlsnest.tv

              Capt. Ray Rosher                             (305) 788-3474

Monty's Sunset Restaurant, Miami Marina (www.montyssobe.com)-- Monty's supported our veterans by extending a deep discount to OACFund for the fish fry they prepared and hosted immediately following the day of fish. Veterans enjoyed a fabulous meal featuring the fish they caught that day.

Hampton Inn Coconut Grove/Coral Gables Hotel (www.miamicoconutgrove.hamptoninn.com) Extended discounts to OACFund that helped our budget go farther and allowed us to host more veterans.

Miami Beach Publix--Food for the on-board lunches in 2015 was donated by the Miami Beach Publix store (1100 6th St., Miami Beach, FL  33139; 305.535.2212; Manager Andrew Lions.)
